Lending a helping hand

There are people who are serving cookies on the corner of South Saginaw. They are raising money to donate to Direct Relief, a fundraiser that donates masks to china to help stop coronavirus spread. One of the owners of the fundraisers, Mr. Spann, tells us that he is trying to stop the spread of coronavirus in China. "There are shortages of masks for the people in Taiwan. " And it's notJUST Taiwan" Mr. Spann continued. "There are also shortages of masks in Hong Kong too." Mr. Spann said. "I was just thinking about this coronavirus thing is never going away unless we stop the spread. I was also thinking that those poor people probably have the virus because there are no masks." Mr. Spann said. "So I wanted to do something about it."

Compassion

"With the help of my mother," Mr. Spann continued. " We opened up a shop where people can come and buy homemade cookies. Mr. Spann said. "All boxes of cookies are $3, and all of the money is going to Direct Relief." Everyone enjoys the cookies. Alot of people came to the "pop-up shop" to come and support the fight against coronavirus. " I just wanted to do my part in joining the fight against the virus. I also wanted to help those in need because some people aren't as lucky as we are." Mr. Spann said. " I hope that everyone does this, you know? fighting for change. Lending a hand and helping everyone in need." Mr. Spann wanted me to end this article off with this quote.
